2. What data we collect

Contact and order data: name, billing and shipping address, email, phone, products purchased and returned.
Payment data: handled directly by the payment providers (Shopify Payments, PayPal, Klarna, Satispay). We never see or store full card details.
Account data: if you create an account, your login details and order history.
Communications: messages you send us by email, chat or phone.
Browsing data: IP address, device, browser and pages visited, collected through cookies as described in our cookie banner.

3. Why we use your data and on what legal basis

To process orders, shipments, returns and customer service – necessary to perform the contract.
To comply with tax and accounting obligations – legal obligation.
To prevent fraud and keep the website secure – our legitimate interest.
To send newsletters and offers – only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time using the link in every email.
Analytics and advertising cookies – only with your consent given through the cookie banner.

4. Who we share data with

We share only the data strictly necessary with: Shopify (the platform hosting our store), payment providers, couriers, email and customer service tools, and – only with your consent – analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Union; in that case transfers are protected by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by an adequacy decision. We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep data

Order and invoice data: 10 years, as required by Italian tax law.
Account data: until you delete your account.
Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe.
Customer service messages: up to 24 months after the last contact.

6. Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive it in a portable format and to withdraw your consent at any time. Write to info@animimalcesine.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali).

7. Minors

Our website is not intended for people under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version is always published on this page with its update date.
